Apparently, the Democratic Mayors who run 14 of our 15 largest cities now have the opportunity to "experience" our border crisis...created by...drum roll...Biden's disastrous border policies.

Who knew New York City had a border with Mexico? These days it all but does in practical terms as migrants streaming into Texas and Arizona from Mexico end up on the social-welfare rolls in the Big Apple and other cities run by Democratic mayors.
So it made sense for New York Mayor Eric Adams to visit El Paso, Texas, over the weekend to draw attention to what the failure to fix U.S. migrant policy is doing to his city. “This is a national crisis. FEMA deals with national crises. FEMA must step up, and there should be one coordinator to coordinate everything that is happening dealing with migrants and asylum seekers in our country,” Mr. Adams said at the border.
He’s right it’s a national responsibility, and that the federal failure is burdening his city to the tune of $366 million in services for asylum seekers last year. He expects the bill to rise to $2 billion by June. Mr. Adams also makes the sensible point that if we’re going to let migrants enter the U.S. and stay for years while they await an asylum hearing, they ought to be allowed to work immediately.
But where Mr. Adams fails is in not calling out the Biden Administration for refusing to fix asylum law. President Biden keeps insisting on “comprehensive immigration reform” that isn’t going to happen as long as the U.S.-Mexico border is essentially wide open. If you want to solve the problem, Mr. Mayor, you have to do more than list your burdens. You have to call out the politicians responsible.
