Did Milt Friedman understand immigration in the 1970s?

Prior to Biden, we typically had 900,000 illegals come to our nation each year, mostly from Mexico. Then Joe upped the number to 3 million+ per year and promised government money to our new friends, whether they worked or not.

BTW, the previous wave of Mexicans who entered integrated seamlessly, becoming an asset to our workforce and helping us avoid the demographic crisis that exists in most of Europe (to few new workers being born). The new crop of illegals are generally from Venezuela. They are less educated and have fewer work skills. Approx 14 million people exited their country in the 8 years before the pandemic...the nation's best and brightest. These workers went to our nations in South America...until those countries shut their doors.

The wave we're seeing in the US is the one turned away by Venezuela's neighbors.

Shocking that his experiment turned out badly?
