The Data: In Gallup's latest surveys in Ukraine, conducted in August and October 2024, an average of 52% of Ukrainians said they would like to see their country negotiate an end to the war as soon as possible.

Territorial Concessions: A fair share of Ukrainians who favor negotiating a quick end to the war believe Ukraine should be open to ceding some territory. Half of those favoring a quick end (52%) agree that Ukraine should be open to making some territorial concessions as part of a peace deal, while 38% disagree and another 10% don't know.
