Is Kamala in fact "left wing". Any metrics on that?

Govtrack is a non partisan resource that explores the voting records of members of the US Congress. As you may recall, Ms. Harris left the Senate in 2020 to be VP.

You might wonder about her ranking in the US Senate prior to that...ergo Left or Right Leaning? Out of 100 US Senators, she and Bernie Sanders scored #1 and #2 respectively in their idealogy being Liberal-leaning.

So yes, while she's attempting to package herself as a moderate her prior voting record and positions say otherwise. Who's knows, however perhaps she's "born again".

BTW: Her former positions when running for President in 2020 included eliminating all fossil fuels by 20250, the immediate elimination of fracking (the US being the largest oil and natural gas producer in the world), open border policy, raising the capital gains tax from 15/20% to 35% along with most other corporate taxes and business regulations.

Snitz common sense view: If you like the job Joe did during the past 4 years and are hoping for a more liberal/progressive continuation of the same you'll not be disappointed with Kamala.

What fun! This is awesome. Go girl!
