The good news as that pot use (particularly heavy pot use) as alcohol is a useful tool to treat psychiatric conditions. Just kidding. But go ahead and self-medicating. It will probably work!
A Gallup poll has revealed that a record number of Americans support the legalization of marijuana in 2023 — approximately 7 in 10 — up from a 68% plateau seen for the past 3 years, and the highest approval rating ever documented.
Considering that the 50% threshold was crossed only 10 years ago, the recent puffing up of these figures shows how rapidly societal attitudes have changed — with Ohio becoming the 24th US state to legalize recreational cannabis use just 2 days ago, despite continued research into potential risks linked to the drug.
