Putin's speech today is compelling? At the very least, his 5 min summary is worth listening to.

Scott Ritter's comments precede (excellent) then Putin begins 3'15" in. Ask yourself who makes more sense right now, Putin or our President.

View this in the context that we've lost, have no ability to resupply Ukraine's depleted military hardware (sooner than 6-12 months) and Putin will not leave Crimea or the Donbas areas he controls and in which the citizenry speak Russian and have allegiance to that state.

BTW: Saying Putin makes more sense doesn't mean I'm a fan. It means that unless we want this to turn into another Vietnam, Afghanistan...fill in the blank...we need to face reality.
