Special Report: Who’s the most offensive Pres ever?

Ok, I gotta say Mr. Mean. Whether or not you think he broke the law, the shit he pulled on Jan 6th was …I’m at a loss for words. Plus him talking about grabbing girl’s crotches and hiring a fricken porn star. How would you like him for a father-in-law? Eckk. Plus the hair!

On the other hand, Tricky Dick had some pretty “bomber” game, particularly in Vietnam.

The story explosively broke when Dan Ellsberg leaked classified documents to the NY Times (The Pentagon Papers). LBJ had worked out an agreement to end the war (between Ho Chi Minn and Nguyen Van Thieu) in the early Fall of 1968. Nixon found out about the agreement and convinced Thieu (Pres S Vietnam) to scuttle it until after his inauguration. Dick wanted the credit for ending the war. Unfortunately, by the time Nixon was in office, conditions on the battlefield had changed along with Ho Chi Minn’s mind. The deal couldn’t be resurrected and the war raged on for another 5 years. Estimates of death during this period on both sides are hard to pin down. A total of between 1.5 and 4 million Vietnamese, Viet Cong and Americans died from 1965-1973. Nixon’s vanity cost at least 500,000 lives and kept American servicemen spilling blood needlessly.

I find that a little offensive. You may wonder why I mention this now? Well, Biden just took a page from the Nixon playbook? I bet you’re skeptical. I don’t blame you.

In 2022 Zelensky and Putin reached a tentative deal to end the conflict. This has been widely reported in Europe and confirmed by several officials in Zelensky’s government including his PR Minister. So who killed this deal? The Biden & Boris Johnson administrations. They promised more money and more arms for Ukraine…but the war must go on. How many Ukrainians have been killed since this time &/or forced from their homes is hard to say. It’s estimated that 6 million refugees have fled the country with 8 million more displaced from their bombed-out homes inside the country. So prolonging this conflict in the name of US vanity has come at a significant cost.

And how will this end? Just like Vietnam with the US and NATO powers quietly losing interest crawling off with tails between their legs. And just like Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan..blah blah blah. Yes, I find this mildly offensive. But that’s just me. I’m silly that way.

Don’t worry, tomorrow the US will find some other nation needing our protection; who we’ll leave worse off than we found them.
