I'm sorry I don't get it. Why can't we just print some more money? Why does printing money make the other money (in circulation) less valuable? Like causing inflation. Like causing interest rates to go up and young folks unable to afford to buy a house.

It's all a big mystery to me. I don't have the gray matter for this. I'm a village idiot.
