Taiwan makes most of the world's advanced chips? US future?

Why do we care so much about Taiwan? For humanitarian reasons. Sure! Haha.

No the real reason is they produce 90% of the world's advanced computing chips. The main company that does this over there is TSMC that has in recent years taken over the mantel from Intel.

Guess what? Intel is about to launch a new technology (in 2024) that could vault it again into first place and bring back this manuf section to the US! That's potentially a really big deal.
