Xi Jinping is driving China into the pavement. He rules with an iron fist and listens to no one. He also has no idea what he's doing and continually bites the hand that feeds him (the West which is his trade partner). He's dumber than sh-t.
The fact that Trump doesn't get this is astounding, especially given he properly monikered COVID the "China Virus". Both those guys would be better off safely tucked away in matching padded cells at Belleview.
‘Nobody in Hollywood’ Like Xi Jinping
China’s leader is ‘smart, brilliant, everything perfect,’ Trump says.

Even after all the surprising things President Trump has said and done since his election in 2016, somehow he still has the ability to astonish. On Tuesday, during a Fox News town hall with Sean Hannity taped in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the jolt came from hearing Mr. Trump give a strangely superlative assessment of Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
“Think of President Xi,” Mr. Trump told the crowd. “Central casting. Brilliant guy. You know, when I say he’s brilliant, everyone says, ‘oh, that’s terrible’ . . . Well, he runs 1.4 billion people with an iron fist. Smart, brilliant, everything perfect. There’s nobody in Hollywood like this guy.”
Everything perfect? What a bewildering way for a former President and 2024 candidate to talk about a U.S. adversary who has crushed freedom in Hong Kong, systematically repressed ethnic Uyghurs, covered up the potential origins of a worldwide coronavirus pandemic, and who might be planning to start a war soon by invading Taiwan, provided that an opportune moment arrives.
In the past Mr. Trump has said similar things about Mr. Xi and others, including Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and he offered an explanation on Tuesday. “They’re smart, tough, and they have a lot of nuclear weapons,” he said. “Having a good relationship—I tried to explain this to the fake news—that’s a good thing, not a bad thing.”
He has a point that his Administration’s actions were sometimes tougher than his, uh, diplomatic rhetoric. President Trump sent Javelin missiles to Ukraine, after President Obama had declined. Still, there’s no reason for Mr. Trump to talk this way. Recognizing that an adversary is dangerous because he’s smart is one thing. But Hollywood doesn’t let the audience forget who’s a villain and who’s a leading man.
