Biting the hand that feeds you (we're the biggest buyer of stuff they produce) eventually leads to the US moving to purchase goods and services elsewhere. Being a prick may work in the short run but not in the long run if you're dealing with a big dog. Yes, we are a big dog.

Meanwhile, China is running headfirst into a demographic nightmare. Their population may drop by a third by 2050 as they are producing too few younger folks and have a giant percentage of their population retiring. Ergo, long term they are f-cked.
