First off, I think people should be free to camp anywhere they like. In fact, the Dan Ryan Expressway is a great place to spend the 4th.

Only yesterday I encouraged folks yesterday to camp on the back straight of Chicago's awesome NASCAR course. That way, they have nearby entertainment.
