Mr Sachs is a professor and the Director of Columbia University's Center for Sustainable Development. He addressed the UN last week, has advised presidents for over a decade, a best-selling author blah blah blah. Ergo he's a heavy hitter in the academic community and a voice you might want to hear. Even if you don't agree with him.
He's non-partisan and comes off to my mind as someone reasonable, well-informed, and provides an interesting perspective. That doesn't mean I agree with everything he says. You may not either.
He reviews some of the facts of the Ukraine war and then dives into Gaza. You may find this worth your time.
BTW: he explains that Zelinky's Chief Negotiator this week admitted on global television that in March of 2022 Putin and Ukraine had prepared a peace agreement which the UK/US shelved telling Ukraine to fight on. Think about that for a moment?
