Is Trump cherry picking Northern Dem cities to conduct ICE raids? You bet. Is it stupid to arrest and deport gainfully employed people who are contributing to our economy (especially when we have a labor shortage in key areas)? Yes!

Can Chicago's Mayor of Mamdani refuse to cooperate or thwart ICE's operations. No. That's illegal.

They can certainly sue the administration if they are using ICE differently across the United State (favoring GOP states).

The American people elected a guy who promised to deport a sh-tload of people. He's following through on that promise. Albeit in what's arguably a illegal manner to cherry pick where the law is enforced.
