Have the tariff wars screwed up our trade with other nations? Deficit?

First the economists and media pundits predicted we'd have run away inflation. That didn't happen.

Then they predicted our trade deficit would explode. Hmmmm. Looks like the stuff we export went up (good) the stuff we import went down (not bad). Shocker! They got that wrong too!

Is Voldemort going to come out smelling like a rose? Anybody's guess. Too soon to tell.
