Is Google Maps still better than Apple?

Good comparative overview. Bottom line:

• For simply navigation Apple gives simpler better directions. Visual aids are better plus the audio turn by turn directions are superior.

• Google shines when looking for info about destinations, places to eat, hotels...blah blah blah. Plus they bought Waze and have better analysis of traffic backups alt routes to avoid traffic.

• I use Apple for normal nav, Google if I expect to run into traffic or need more info about where I'm going. If on a road trip I have both going, with Google's voice turned off. BAM
