The Easter Bunny is definately more popular. Crap, is Isrealis can't even watch a soccer match!
That's right folks. The Tribe has been bared from Birmingham Premier League Soccer. I guess the Gaza thing isn't trending well.
As reported this am in the WSJ:
Is Britain safe for Jews? On Thursday authorities in Birmingham, the country’s second-largest city, prohibited the fans of an Israeli soccer team from attending a match next month, even though the threats to cause trouble are coming from locals. What an alarming message from police, and it comes barely two weeks after an Islamist terror attack on a synagogue in Manchester.
The match, scheduled for Nov. 6, is part of a larger tournament and will pit Birmingham’s Aston Villa team against Maccabi Tel Aviv. The Safety Advisory Group, an arm of the city government, last week barred Tel Aviv fans from attending, ruling that the event is “high risk.” West Midlands Police, which advises the committee, said the decision “is based on current intelligence and previous incidents.”
Such prohibitions aren’t unusual in European matches, given the Continent’s sorry history of soccer hooliganism. What is unusual is that these fans are being barred not as likely perpetrators of violence but as potential victims. The police cite a 2024 riot in Amsterdam after a match between that city’s Ajax and the Maccabi, in which Muslim cabbies and others hounded and assaulted Jewish fans.
The English police didn’t say what “current intelligence” led to their decision, but it’s easy enough to guess. Asrar Rashid, a local Muslim scholar said this month of Maccabi fans: “We will not show them mercy in Birmingham.” Ayoub Khan, an independent member of Parliament who won election in 2024 primarily on his opposition to Israel’s war in Gaza, circulated a petition that said letting the soccer match proceed would send “a message of normalization and indifference to mass atrocities.”

It's not going great in the US either!
