I've lost track of the number of cars I've hit while being high on model cement. The poor guy may have meant to "hit" the car, but he did not mean to "run". That was an accident. He's an honorable man and a good husband to one of this nation's true patriots.
I am not joking!

Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, is facing hit-and-run charges after allegedly smashing his convertible into a parked car in Napa County before driving off.
Napa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a hit-and-run on the 6700 block of Yount Street in Yountville, on July 3 around 2:30 p.m., according to a press release.
A witness who called 911 pointed officials in the direction of a northbound vehicle seen colliding with the rear of a parked car on the shoulder, causing major damage. The collision also pushed the parked car’s right tire up onto the curb.
The witness said the vehicle briefly stopped and then drove away.
After police tracked Pelosi down, the 86-year-old admitted to hitting something but said he wasn’t aware what he struck. He then continued driving until his vehicle, disabled from the crash, stopped working.

Police found Pelosi partially blocking the roadway in his brown convertible on Yountville Cross Road. The car had significant damage to the front right side of the vehicle.
Cops determined that alcohol was not a factor in Pelosi’s crash. Pelosi took a preliminary alcohol screening test, and it showed a blood alcohol level of 0.00 “therefore, Driving Under the Influence was ruled out,” police said.

Police did not arrest Pelosi, which they said “is common for this type of offense, in accordance with misdemeanor arrest laws spelled out in 853.6 of the California Penal Code.”
The case has been transferred to the Napa County District Attorney’s office for a formal review. A California DMV re-evaluation referral form will also be submitted to the DMV, a common incident for elderly drivers.
A spokesperson for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office told The California Post that they are recommending a misdemeanor charge of property damage hit-and-run with no bodily injury, in accordance with California vehicle code 20002.
The Pelosi family owns a multi-million dollar vineyard property in Napa County’s St. Helena, about 10 miles north of Yountville. The Zinfandel Lane 16-acre property includes a home, permitted winery, and rakes in thousands in grape sales.
Paul once complained of a neighboring winery trying to open before a local planning commission, the LA Times reported. He also moaned about the traffic in the area around his property.
“One thing I would like to say while here, though,” he said, “all of us are concerned about the speed limit on Zinfandel Lane.”
Pelosi’s misfortune also came to the national spotlight on another occasion in 2022. An armed assailant broke into his San Francisco home and beat him with a hammer, leaving him with a fractured skull.
The attacker, David DePape, was looking for Nancy Pelosi. She was on a work trip at the time.
In 2022, Paul Pelosi was in a car crash while driving his luxury Porsche in Napa County.

Earlier that year, he was in a car crash while driving his luxury Porsche in Napa County. He allegedly reeked of booze, was unsteady on his feet, and slurred his words when officers arrived at the scene of the crash and found him sitting in the driver’s seat.
His blood alcohol content was measured at 0.082%, and he later pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury.
Paul also drew some scrutiny related to his financial decisions in 2021. He made about $5.3 million in Alphabet options acquired February 27, right before the COVID-19 pandemic stagnated the American economy. The move drew talk of insider trading due to his close relationship with a powerful member of Congress.
The California Post reached out to the Napa County District Attorney’s office for comment.
