Valued at $13 billion, the Cowboys posted an estimated $629 million in operating income last season, making them the most profitable sports team in the world and putting them more than $200 million ahead of the next closest franchise.⁠


⁠That gap reflects a wider shift in sports economics. Media rights, sponsorships, and premium seating have turned top teams into cash machines, with NFL franchises in particular operating with near-guaranteed profitability thanks to massive league revenue sharing.⁠
