Snitz examines why Tucker may not be easy for Fox to replace?

Great video below by VD Hanson.

Compared to decades past, consumers now have more options to consume entertainment, news (which has morphed from information to entertainment), and advertisements.

Ergo, networks and advertisers don't need to use a shotgun to hit everyone with one type of movie, tv show, news program or ad. They can segment and rifle shoot.

It has gotten to the point where individual "news" talent can bypass the networks altogether and reach a massive audience as solo artists. Joe Rogan's nightly audience of 13 million dwarfs CNN's of about 1-1.5 million or Fox (the biggest) at 3 million during prime time.

Tucker will have the op to follow in Bill Oreilly, Megyn Kelley or Ben Shaperio's footsteps and develop his own programming while having complete editorial control and no sponsors he has to keep happy.

Fox will likely find that their ability to keep ratings stable has flown the coop. Tucker's approach (whether you like it or hate it) is going to be next to impossible to replicate.

BTW: Why are Tucker and Rogan top dogs? They come off as authentic and unique. They're not trumpeting the party line of the Dems, Repubs or corporate America. The average American is sick of all three.
