Decision sets aside lower-court ruling that blocked the move, in a win for the president’s deportation efforts

The Supreme Court will let the Trump administration strip temporary legal protections from thousands of Venezuelans living in the U.S., in a win for its mass deportation efforts.

The court’s order on Monday sets aside a lower-court ruling that had blocked the Department of Homeland Security from removing those protections while litigation proceeds.
