One important factoid. Much of Europe (especially Germany and France) has seen their immigrant population skyrocket. These new transplants are largely refugees from the Syrian War that haven't not integrated well with the locals.

On the other hand, Iceland's new friends come largely from Ukraine and Lithuania. Ergo easy to assimilate.
