I'm sick and tired of being out in the open. To be honest I feel exposed...constantly. I'm moving to Maine where it's safe!

America’s forests aren’t evenly spread at all. The Southeast and New England are some of the most heavily forested regions—many states pass 60–70%, with Maine topping the list at 89%.

Meanwhile, the Great Plains and parts of the Midwest remain mostly open land, with some states under 5% forest cover.
