Griner is a total douche bag?

Griner has a gift. For being an asshole. First she gets herself arrested for bringing "hooch" into Russia and Biden foolishly trades her for the world's #1 illegal arms dealer. Then after she returns apparently start trashing talk Caitlin Clark on the court using racial slurs.

BTW, the movie the Lord of War is based on the life of the arm's dealer she sprung from US custodly. I'm sure she was loving partner in that marriage!

Brittney Griner files for divorce from wife who fought to free her from Russian custody

Connecticut Sun center Brittney Griner filed for divorce from her wife, Cherelle, in Fulton County on Thursday, court records show.

Brittney, 35, cited the marriage as “irretrievably broken” and listed the date of separation as July 24, per Page Six.

They married in June 2018 after meeting as students at Baylor University — where Brittney helped the Bears win a NCAA national championship in 2012, completing a historic 40-0 undefeated season.

Brittney is seeking joint legal custody of the pair’s 2-year-old son, Bash, born in July 2024.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution was first to report the news.

Cherelle, a 33-year-old lawyer, publicly fought for Brittney’s release after she was taken into custody by Russian officials for carrying a vape pen containing hash oil in Feb. 2022.

Brittney was found guilty on drug-related charges in Russia, where marijuana is illegal, and received a nine-year sentence.

She was released 10 months after being detained through a prisoner swap for convicted Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout in December 2022.

Brittney was previously married to former WNBA player Glory Johnson — and she filed an annulment of the marriage after 28 days in 2015.

Johnson gave birth to their twin daughters, Ava Simone and Solei Diem, in Oct. 2015.

Brittney was ordered to pay child support to Johnson in April 2016.
