How German inadvertently empowers Putin. Two charts.

Russia's #1 energy customer is Germany. Or as I like to put it, the Deutschland is hooked on Russian energy with Putin being its drug dealer. It's pretty clear that it's habit has gotten significantly worse.

And why is that? The Kraut government is more interested in their own Green New Deal than in national security or the stability of Europe. As their reliance on renewables have grown, they become more vulnerable and dependant on Putin. Especially during cloudy or windless weather, which has been a huge problem for them in the past 12 months.

France on the other hand, gets 7-% of their power from nuclear energy and has 5 new reactors in construction. Fitting that Biden first sent John Kerry (his climate change Czar) to meet with Putin when he announced plans to invade the Ukraine. He "gets it" too!
