Snitz celebrates the new Obama Presidential Library

There are those who say this is ridculously expensive and looks like a prison. You say tomato I say tomato. Whatever...I love it. It's absolutely deliciously evil. How evil you ask?

Let's compare to a few other presidential libraries:

Obama Presidential Center (see video below for images of this beast)!

Cost: $850 million (final estimate as of September 2025)

Estimated time to complete: 5 f-cking years!

George W. Bush Presidential Center

Cost: $250 million

Total construction time: ~2.5 years (2010-2013)

Bill Clinton Presidential Center

Cost: $165 million

Total construction time: 3 years

George H.W. Bush Presidential Library

Cost: $43 million

Overall timeline from end of presidency: ~4 years (1993-1997)

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Cost: $40 million in 1991.

Overall timeline from end of presidency: ~2.5 years (1989-1991)

BTW, just for fun let's compare this to the Empire State Building. The later was constructed in 410 days (vs 5 years for the Obama Center) ! The NYC building is approx 12 times the size and 6 times the height. The later was constructed in 1931 for about $41 million. In present day dollars, about $800 million. Ergo a bit less than the Obama Center.
